What can I say, I LOVE sweets. I had a tough time trying to narrow it down but I decided to choose one baked sweet and a type of candy. 

 Although not as cute as cupcakes, mont blanc is one of my favorite baked goods. I haven't been able to find them as easily in Hawaii as I did in Japan but there is a pâtisserie that has them from time to time. The chestnut puree is absolutely to die for.

These would have to be my favorite hard candy. I've always been a fan of ume ever since I can remember and when I was introduced to these I was hooked. The sweet outer shell and soft sour center compliment each other very well.
