eyecandylens.com & Princess Mimi/Bambi Circle Lense Review

I had recently ordered some circle lenses from Eyecandylens.com and I thought I would share my experience with my readers~

My first pair of lenses hand recently expired so I thought that a new pair was in order. I stumbled upon Eyecandylens.com after finding their listing for lace lenses that I wanted for wearing with Lolita fashion. The lace lenses were nice up seemed a bit too out there for everyday wear. After searching their site, I decided to get the ever popular Princess Mimi/Bambi lenses in Chocolate Brown as well as Apple Green.

One of the main reasons I decided to order from Eyecandylens.com was that they offer free shipping worldwide. I placed my order on the 11th of April and the lenses where shipped out on the 15th. I usually get extremely impatient when waiting for anything coming in the mail but these where driving me crazy. Luckily, they arrived a lot quicker than I had thought the would and I received on the 20th.

The lenses where shipped in a roomy bubble mailer and where packed rather well. I shook the package and couldn't feel or hear any movement.

The lenses where packed in super cute pink bags covered in golden stars. Eyecandylens.com had also included a card to keep track of when your lenses expire as well as a general guide on using and caring for circle lenses.

The lenses where also packaged in bubble wrap and came with free lens cases.

Would you purchase from them again?:YES

I was rather happy with my overall experience. Eyecandylens.com had answered all of my questions quickly and updated my order as soon as they could. The cute packaging was a total plus for me as things of a cuter nature will get you extra brownie points. I totally recommend them to anyone that's looking to get a pair of circle lenses with out the hassle.

Before finding circle lenses, I would be constantly let down with colored contacts because of my dark eyes. The Princess Mimi/Bambi lenses are amazing. I love,Love,LOVE these lenses. At the current moment, I only have opened the Apple Green lenses. They look super cute and I have a feeling that I'll be opening the Chocolate Brown ones in the very near future.

☆Princess Mimi/Bambi Lens Review☆
Color: ★★★★★
Enlargement: ★★★★★
Comfort:★★★★☆

The color of these lenses is amazing yet no where near natural. I was rather scared of ordering anything but brown lenses just because I thought they would look odd with my skin tone but these look great. The lenses are comfy but tend to feel dry pretty fast. I don't know if its just my eyes but it becomes a bit bothersome. Enlargement is great as well, making the wearer look extremely cute and doe eyed.

I hope my review has been helpful to anyone thinking about using Eyecandylens.com or purchasing these particular lenses.

イベント・大冒険~ハローハローはろーキティ☆

Erica had given me a heads up about an event that was happening at Ala Moana Center. Sephora was having a special event for their collaboration with Hello Kitty and Yuko Yamaguchi was going to do a signing as well as bring an entourage of Californian Lolitas. I got there at around 11 and walked past Sephora a couple of times to see if there were an Lolitas to be found. The first time around I didn't see any Lolitas but the staff were all wearing huge pink fluffy head bows. I met up with Erica a short while later and went back to see if any Lolitas decided to make an appearance. As we got closer, we noticed girls decked out in AP and where quite excited to see other Lolitas around. I went to go get changed into my Boy Style attire but felt a bit out of placed standing next to girls dressed in pastels. We made ideal chitchat and introduced ourselves, everyone was so nice. Sadly, Erica had to go to a meeting later and left me to fend for myself D: I Stayed at Sephora and luckily the event coordinator allowed me to help out. I helped the girls hand out flyers for the event and took pictures with random people, it was a little strange but fun. Later, I decided to call one of my friends and he arrived just as everyone was being let off of a break. We hung out until Erica made it back dressed in her AatP JSK. After everyone was all set, we went to wait in line for the event.

I didn't buy anything from the Sephora X Hello Kitty collection but I was lucky enough to get into the event as Erica's accessory XD While waiting in line in Sephora some Sanrio representatives noticed my bag. I was carrying an older Sanrio bag that could only be obtained through their stamp card system. I felt kind of bad because the bag wasn't the greatest shape but they were still happy to see it. I was also extremely lucky to have something signed buy her after the event coordinator spotted me in line and pulled some strings. What did I get signed you ask?

My bag of course~
Truly a memorable day~

♥SEEK ♥

Post is for the sole purpose of showing Erica the "normal" side of Seek XD. Ever since I found out about PLC, Seek has always been my favorite member. I liked his outrageous costumes as well as his down to earth/motherly personality. When PLC disbanded I was quite sad but luckily the members kept making music in other groups. Seek and Aya reformed Isabella for a short while then went on to Mix Speaker's inc. Anyways yeah pictures :D

Lolita meme ①

A Lolita Meme!

I've been reading quite a few Lolita blogs and seen this particular meme a few times. Being rather bored, I decided I would give it a go~

1. Best Lolita fashion advice you've ever received?
I've never really received any Lolita advice to be honest. I did look through a lot of GLBs and Kera to get a general idea of what makes a good coordinate.

2. Style icons?
-Kaya
-Mana
-Takarano Arika

3. Describe your personal style.
I try to stick with things that are either black or white/kinari but I do have some other colors. My personal style has a little bit of everything but is mostly sweet. I love the prints and cuts of sweet pieces but often times they may be a bit childish for most occasions. To combat this I have a few Gothic and boystyle pieces.

4. Favorite designers/brands?
My favorite brands are BTSSB/AatP,Metamorphose and Moi meme moitie~ I have pieces from other brands but these three would have to be my favorites.

5. Most cherished items?
My most cherished piece is my BTSSB Karami JSK as it was my first brand piece. I also cherish anything that I received as gifts or once belonged to dear friends.

6. Most used item?
An older Angelic Pretty blouse. The blouse is from back before they produced nothing but OTT items and I love it to pieces.

7. I feel best wearing?
I feel best when I'm wearing anything that makes me happy whether it be some sweet Metamorphose or elegant Moi meme moitie.

8. The first thing I look for in another Lolita's outfit...
Poof. If there is no poof it just isn't right.

9. Lolita Fashion rule you never break?
I would never me caught wearing a JSK without a petticoat.

10. Never caught wearing?
OTT sweet, just looking at it gives my a stomach ache...

11. Dress to impress who?
Myself, other may think of me as an oddity but I am entitled to be WHOEVER I want to be and wear WHATEVER I want.

12. Your next "must have" purchase?
People knocked the series for its similarity to SS uniforms but I really want Meta's D.Walkure series. If not that then Twinkle Mermaid  in black.

13. Favorite type of head accessory?
I'm a fan of headbows but I would have to say those maxipad headdresses are my favorite whether they be the old school ones or the updated thinner ones.

14. Favorite cut of clothing (shirring, high waist, princess seams etc)?
I'm a fan of shirring, otherwise I would not be able to fit into brand.

15. Current obsession?
Gothic prints~ I would totally go for Moitie's holy stained glass if I could fit into it.

16. Best Lolita fashion advice you can give to anyone:
Just because you can fit into a dress doesn't mean it'll look good on you. dressing to your body type will not only flatter your figure but will make the dress look better on you.
